    Yeah but if you’re on holiday in the US and you need the EMS Americans still advise not calling them unless the situation is too dire to get yourself there or you have good travel insurance ☺️🔫

      This is correct. The only time you should call emergency services in the US are:

      1. You are already dying so it can’t get worse.
      2. Something is on fire and a garden hose won’t put it out.

      My Paramedic friend said the same thing.

      “An American ambulance is only for when you’d die on the way there otherwise.”
