It’s beyond bizarre to me that you’d think the differences between states in the US would be comparable to that of countries in Europe. Think of the language alone.
Yes, and not even that stands. Every language you have, we have here as well. Just because English is our primary language doesn’t mean everyone here speaks it, either. Is it so hard to believe a nation of immigrants from around the globe is somehow more culturally diverse than Europe? Tell me where you’re from and I’ll take you to a community here that has everything you have there down to the floor tiles.
Well absolutely. But talking about language, having some language minorities is wholly different to speaking an entirely different language. But as for other ciltural factors, surely you realize how much bigger the cultural divide between European countries with centuries or millenia or even more of development is to the cultural differences of different states in the US? If you want to compare US states to something, maybe German states would be a better comparison. Sure there are differences, but overall it’s not as great as between two different countries.
We’re talking in circles at this point. I’ve given more than enough information to prove my point. You’ve said enough to show your opinion won’t change no matter what I say. Cya!

Ah, so you think the diversity is bigger because there are some that speak some language, even though most speak the same language?
No. Language is only a small part of diversity.

Hard disagree.
