So this is Avengers for all the lesser characters? Also, new rule. Trailers aren’t allowed to use covers of classic songs anymore. Thank you.
So this is Avengers for all the lesser characters?
Or some kind of darker version of the Avengers… If only there were a snappier name for it… 🤔
Dark Avengers would have been Cap & company between Captain America: Civil War & Avengers: Infinity War.
That would have been Secret Avengers.
Ah, true
That’s a bit harsh - they should have a quota on downbeat covers of songs in trailers but an outright ban on “Where is my mind?”.
Yeah, about half of the Marvel shows and some of the movies have been teasing this teamup, like the stuff with Val talking to people like US Agent and Yelena has been her recruiting people for this team.
Edit: Hey the music here rocks, don’t hate on it!!
I can’t believe they made a sequel to Black Widow before Shang Chi
If it’s a sequel to Black Widow, it’s also a sequel to Falcon & The Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Secret Invasion, and Captain America: Brave New World as well.
Here’s hoping that Shang Chi 2 is one of the first post-Secret Wars movies we get in the MCU though!
Bored. So bored with these stories.
On the other hand, I like fun.
Why?
I crave novelty and Marvel is producing less and less of it?
I mean a straight up ensemble action flick is pretty novel when it comes to Marvel…
Is it? Didn’t they do avengers a couple of times? And guardians?
Nah I mean something more grounded. You usually don’t get this sort of stuff outside of Captain America-related media or like, Black Widow
Lol everyone who says this I roll my fuckin eyes c’mon bro
Read comics they’re all like this. 90% of storylines are a mess and usually used to set up further storylines.
Haven’t even seen the movie yet. Imo when movies stray far from comics they get mad shitty; madam web, green lantern, X-Men series.
And that is why I have moved away from the comics. I guess seeing through the facade of infinite sequels is why I like them less and less. I’m looking for more depth to the stories and leave them with a defined beginning and end.
If you are looking for just fun spectacle, sure. Enjoy it. But, good gods, it is getting formulaic.
The Thunderbolts are like 30 years old though
… yes? I know. What difference does that make?
