    I never personally encountered the CUT CARD message while I worked retail, but my understanding was there was actually a bounty given when you did this. That is a level above just “declined”, of course. Don’t know what the situation is these days.

      Sounds like a dumbass thing. Who the hell cuts a credit card in half that may or may not have failed due to network errors of the card reader?
