Advice on how to follow a Mastadon account on Lemmy (if this is even possible) would be welcome.
There’s some great Star Trek folk on mastadon…and I’d like to stick with just one account in the fediverse.
As far as I am aware Lemmy does not have the ability to follow individual accounts yet. I hear it’s an option on Kbin though.
I’m trying to do the same, but reversed. I haven’t followed an instance yet cause I’m afraid of a torrent of posts. Look at the instruction in the sidebar for foreign subscriptions, and reverse it. Try deleting the leading “!” if search first fails. When you get to the mastodon instance, try following them. Works?
