OpenAI cofounder and chief scientist says he deeply regrets participating in ousting Sam Altman::Ilya Sutskever, a cofounder and the chief scientist of OpenAI, expressed regret and said he’d do everything he could to reunite the company.
Well well well if it isn’t the consequences of our own actions…
He should deeply regret that haircut. What the fuck is going on up there?
That shit ain’t a haircut, it’s a hairfall.
Looks like he had a hair transplant done. Source: a fellow student had it done and after the first healing it looked just like this.
The “Master Pain”
What leadership at OpenAI really regrets is forgetting to double check that Altman had a non-compete in place. It sounds like he is bringing his favorite employees over to Microsoft.
Pretty sure non competes are largely unenforceable, so probably irrelevant.
Non-competes probably, but non-solicits maybe not.
But how many researchers signed that letter asking the board not to fire Sam?
I don’t think Sam needs to solicit for his staff.
Non-solicits are probably not legal in California anyway.
Pretty much 100% all employees signed that letter
Non-compete is illegal in California
You wake up every day, look at those pubes in the mirror and think, “Nah, it’s fine.”?
Maybe I should try a hat… Nah, I can’t hide this masterpiece
Whole lotta regrets going on here…
I am still not convinced this wasn’t some kind of setup. I believe they mentioned before that self destruction is a tool in line with their mission.
Ilya joins Sam at Microsoft. There will be no openAI employees on the openai board and 90% of employees leave like they say they will.
“Please, let me in, too!”
Its kinda the best as a fellow n’er-be-not-banished to hear shit like this :)
Definitely hated Sam for his hair lol
