I never knew her, but after reading this, it makes me feel as if I know she existed.
She was passionate about changing the channel to the one with the Friends rerun. She was a normal worker who only really worked hard when she thought her boss was watching, and slacked off at other times. She wasn’t the “glue that held the friend group together” or anything, but she certainly participated in things with the group. She was a loving and gentle person… at least when she’d had a good night’s sleep and wasn’t stressed about stuff, but, to be honest that was rare. She was a tireless worker for her community in that she kept objecting to any development work that could hurt her property value. She was like a big sister to everyone, in that she was often bullying them.

So what podcasts do you get murdered on? Seems like a very odd thing to do because murder seems like something that would work better via a visual medium.
I think she meant one of those true crime podcasts where they discuss murders that had happened elsewhere, but I like the way you think. It’s an odd premise though, because I suspect it would become increasingly difficult to book guests from episode 2 onwards.
I mean, only if said guests have actually heard the podcast. I listen to a ton of them, and it’s a fairly unusual occurrence when a guest is familiar with the format. Besides which, you could theoretically record any number of episodes before releasing them.
At the very least, this tweet calls out Morbid podcast, but it’s almost a trope in true crime.
It’s borne of a desire to celebrate the victims in a medium that is at risk of glorifying the perpetrator, but it often lands a little flat.
I’ve told my folks that I want my obit to mention how much I loved cake farts.
