    How come they don’t do self-driving buses for public transit? Wouldn’t that be easier to train for? And it could work towards improving ride frequency, expand routes and reduce traffic?

    In the Bay Area I see all these commuter buses that the tech companies pay for, how come they don’t automate those?

    Edit: those are $20K lidars. Can see them stripped down to the bare metal, sitting on blocks in some East Bay back street. It’ll be glorious.
