I can’t wait to play this in the nursing home just before I die.
Well maybe by 2030 we’ll be able to play the game.
This by itself doesn’t raise any red flags for me.
They could just be increasing there team for some other project, or hiring some more talent to polish up the game, both are possible. Sometimes people leave the company for personal reasons and need to be replaced, there can be so many factors behind this.
Nintendo shadow dropped Metroid Prime 1, which to be honest doesn’t make any sense to me, but I think it shows they have some sort of roadmap to Prime 4 release, with Prime 2 and Prime 3 coming in few months. We may get a Prime 4 announcement next fiscal year, that is after March 2024.
What do you think? Any theories?
Just a guess, but i wonder if Prime 4 is basically done at this point, but they are rushing to do remasters of 2 & 3.
I’m thinking they might be hiring on new staff to help quickly finish those up… but I’m semi-wild-guessing with that
It is possible, but from all the rumours that were circulating, Prime 2 and 3 are already remastered, and it’s on Nintendo when they release those.
This had better be the “Breath of the Wild” for the Metroid series, or the reviews are going to rip this game to pieces…
I doubt it; that it has to be botw equivalent or be torn apart. Metroid is in decent shape, Dread was excellent, and highly praised after having been the equivalent of duke nukem forever for the series, and Prime 1 remaster has been well received too.
I think as long as it is in the neighborhood of prime 2 and 3 people will enjoy it. Would I love for it to blow up like botw and totally change the game somehow, hell yeah! Does it need to to succeed, probably not. As long as there is rad atmosphere, creative envrionmental storytelling and puzzles, interesting boss fights I’ll probably love it, but I am a very easy mark for Metroid.
I stand by the fact that I think Prime 4 will be a duel release for the Switch and the next Nintendo hardware. By doing so it’d make a pretty solid launch title I’d think.
I want to agree but I dont think MP is as popular in Japan as it is in the US.
