Sorry, I was coming up with a reply for the last thing you said.
This is usually the source of people’s annoyance with me. I also struggle to comprehend what people say half the time.
My wife could write a book about this. Specifically about me doing it.
Been married 25 years. I’m sure mine could too. It’s a daily annoyance to her.
When you have to rewind the audio book 8 times because you forgot to listen…
Then sometimes you just wanted to ask what something means and your partner is so used to you asking them to repeat they repeat what they said and no w everyone is confused.
Convo I had last night
Friend: “The the the the the… thing! That’s right, the thing.”
Me: “Can you say that again? You took too long to get to the point and now I don’t remember the rest of the statement.”
Friend: “Hey fuck you man!”
Me: “No unironically, I don’t remember”
Friend: “Oh, yeah sure <the previous statement, without delays>”
