Second Sight. Really interesting article here. They didn’t actually shut down the implants remotely or anything, but they stopped providing any and all support, meaning if you’re going in for an MRI/surgery and the doctors have questions, there’s nobody to provide answers. Didn’t even tell patients that they’d shut down.
If there is any progress at all with nueralink, I have to assume its because Elon is entirely separated from any decision making whatsoever.

I’ve heard their only distinction is a somewhat denser set of connections. They can connect to more nerves than equivalent devices, but not a game changing number more. Aside from that, yeah, this is decade old tech.
