On the discussion of job replacement due to A.I, the term “prompt engineer” pops up frequently when mentioning new jobs that will arise due to it.
Isn’t prompt engineering just typing questions? How is it difficult enough for it to be a desired job in the market?
I definitely think it will be a field of study in CS and SE type degrees, as you can already do that in AI classes. It’s really more a subset and tool of programming in general, as you need to understand what you want it to make, or it can and will give you garbage that you won’t know is incorrect.
