I mean you have a complete rogues gallery of presidents like reagan ass fucking democracy in Central America, bush starting unnecessary military action in Iraq, bush 2 and cheney faking intelligence to force the country into MORE military action in Iraq, trump assassinating Iranian generals etc.

He was also the first one since Carter who got the Nobel peace prize. Think that’s part of what’s being highlighted here.
Where he directly called out the contradiction in his acceptance speech. Obama was given that award because of how hard prior republicans threatened the planet.
