The “leg sweep” was clearly an unnecessary use of force and the officer should be prosecuted. None of this “we investigated ourselves and found ourselves innocent “ shit.

Police need to be held to a higher standard.

That guy looks like he’d been waiting for that moment ever since he learned how to do it and just needed to try it on someone much smaller than him so that he could actually pull it off. What a cunt.

Cops always investigate themselves and even when found guilty face no repercussions.

Anyone remember the neurodivergent guy thrown to his lawn by like 4 cops in Melbourne a few years ago! They were made to apologise to him.

The cop who was close to retirement who beat up a prisoner leaving him blooded in his cell in Geelong? He retired peacefully soon after.

Fuck internal investigations, cops should be held up to a community judgement. Let’s see what the people they’re assaulting everyday feel is fair.

Magistrate Rami Attia found Constable Ryan Barlow guilty of occasioning actual bodily harm, dismissing claims the officer had felt threatened.

For anyone reading only the bot summary, this is from a separate case and the investigation is “ongoing” and no charges have yet been brought against the officer in the video.
