I don’t know anything about the D compiler specifically, but in general, pacman doesn’t support partial system upgrades. If the package has no dependencies (or has very stable dependencies) you may be OK with the older package.

All that said, if you still have the old package, you can reinstall it with:

pacman -U /var/cache/pacman/pkg/<old_pkg_name>.pkg.tar.zst

You’ll also have to add the package name to your IgnorePkg list in /etc/pacman.conf.

Not really a virus, but coworker left his laptop open and unattended for a while. As punishment, I installed a script with a cron job that ran at random intervals between 10 minutes and 2 hours. The script set the speaker volume to just barely audible, played a sound of a whisper voice that just said “hey”, then reset the volume back to where it was.
