There was a video where Triple H and the Saudi guy presented the rings, hers was too big and he couldn’t get his on his finger, maybe they mixed them up, anyways… he’s gonna need to visit Diddy’s baby oil room to get that thing off without losing the finger.
I guess one good thing about that stupid belt is that it’s staying in Saudi and not going to need to be carted around, it was gaudy in the case, it’s obsessively stupid when on a person.
Sparkles vs Wolf Boy fight over pale woman… I haven’t seen the movies but I did read these books to see what my cousins were so into back then, and all I can say is these dudes were toxic and manipulative stalkers and were really fucking creepy.
As to the show…
From what I’ve seen it’s geared more toward kids/ families which I’m fine with. Maybe it’ll be the thing that finally gets my kids into wrestling.
Yeah it’s a TV-Y7 show according to the US MPAA.
Great Balls of Fire he sounds crazy.
I loved Corbin, going back to his long stringy hair lone wolf stuff, I think he was horrifically underused though and when he started getting traction as a Bum they immediately killed it, so I hope he goes to TNA and can have an upper card run, Corbin-Hendry 2025, let’s make it happen. I just wonder what name he’ll come up with now he can’t be Corbin.
The rest, I’m sad to say I’m not surprised about, WWE never seemed to have anything for Hartwell after she left NXT, she like many others was just never given that chance. Tegan, I can kind of see releasing, every time she gets healthy here comes another injury, not her fault but for the money I’d might reconsider using her on contract rather than per match.
Excuse me, he can’t hate women’s wrestling, his wife invented it after all. /s
I’d be sad to find out Corbin is on Tyrus’ level.
I still can’t get over WCW naming him Hardcore Hak.
Putting a lot of money into a company like this could help him keep it safe from the lawsuits. On top of that they could copy the Warner method, spend money and then write it off for tax breaks which moves money around.
It should be very interesting to see if any networks or distributors would be initially interested in working with McMahon given the toxicity surrounding the nature of his WWE exit and the lawsuits that have been filed, but Hollywood can be a very upside down world.
Money opens pretty much all doors. Like Katy pointed out… the Saudi-WWE deal, Saudi-PGA deal, Saudi-NASCAR rumors… all companies that vowed not to work with countries like this and claimed to be super patriotic… then the money came along.
Agree with Jey, it felt like he should have been the last one to join who finally makes the big difference (which I say cause unlike WWE, I haven’t forgotten about the fact that they also signed Hikuleo lmao)
I imagine they are saving him for Survivor Series/War Games… OG Bloodline with Sami vs. Solo Bloodline with Solo winning thanks to Talla Tonga.
Kind of was hoping Will would come out of the stall and smash his head into the mirror.
Randy and Triple H were great there, it went a little longer than I’d like but it was good stuff to me.
I don’t want the COO, I want the Cerebral Assassin who carried a sledgehammer everywhere he went, wore leather jackets knocked down my front door and tossed me out my dining room window… I love that the characters can show they remember the past now.
Edit: Shows ending and I have some critiques… Jeys rejoining Roman is happening too fast and easy, like this is rushed. And holy fuck MCMG just got here and are the champs. Triple H liked him some TNA.
Edit 2: I’m kind of fucking pissed about Andrade and Carmelo’s so called “Best of Seven” series… L.A. Knight turning on both of them and making it a triple threat in Saudiland is embarassing and trash booking that wasted weeks of my time.
They should have ended after the 3rd one, after that it started getting paired with Rampage, then Collision, and nothing ever happened on them after that 3rd one that I can remember.
It’s got the hallmarks of being an afterthought because the person pushing for it left… Collision is way different now without Punk to the point I rarely bother and just hit up recaps and Dynamite, where before I thought it was better than Dynamite. Clash of the Champions… I mean Battle of the Belts seemed to me to be a Cody thing, because Cody loves him some Dusty throwback stuff and it seemed to be not worth the effort once he left.
Also it was named poorly, Battle of the Belts always implied to my mind that Champions would be facing each other… ultimately this would have been the best use of all those ROH belts… AEW Champ vs ROH Champ, live this Saturday at 8, only on Battle of the Belts…
Did you eat them anyway… because the obvious answer was to make them into dipped chocolate cookies, melt the chocolate in a sauce pan with a little butter and dip the cookies into it to coat the tops.
I always expected this to happen, PBR was originally rumored to be in the Group but Vince hated the idea, again it was a rumor I read, not necessarily true.
Endeavor, the controlling party of TKO already, is “selling” some of their assets to TKO in exchange for even more stock… it’s classic hedge fund/venture capitalist/private equity move the money around bullshit. Expect to see more layoffs across the companies for “synergy” reasons and don’t be surprised if one of the companies gets loaded up with debt from some of the others and sold off or shut down later.
Bullshit… Bullshit… Bullshit… Bulldog…
I guess he’s nothing like Will then…
The Ring Boy Scandal hit the news in 1992, Nick Khan and Triple H would have been in their late teens to early 20s at the time this all took place and didn’t even have anything to do with The WWF at the time.
I’m open to seeing where this goes, but this feels like ambulance chasing to latch onto what’s happening with the Grant case.
