• they minimized enviromental impact
• wasn’t explicitly powered by the theft of intellectual property, which especially hurts since they basically legalised said theft for companies, so we have a double standard for the rich essentially ratified into law.
• it was implemented where it was actually useful and not shoved into places it has no place being
• it didn’t log and share enough user data to be another surveillance adjacent service.
• the entry level workers it replaced were provided the tools to switch specialties.

Except there is well documented links to funding from Russia for exactly this, csis and formally the FBI (before they became a Russian asset) has been sounding the alarm since 2012.
