This looks like an advert for Dstretch.
This seems to be an open source alternative https://github.com/BenDyson-Arch/LDCS

Oh I’m aware. In a way the plugin ecosystem is also one of the biggest issues with wordpress, it’s full of freemium garbage that violates the spirit and in many cases the letter of the GPL.
But the point is that if you want a complete replacement for wordpress, it isn’t just a blogging system you have to replicate. You also have to in some way replicate a forum, form builders, activitypub, an e-commerce system, calendar, booking system, SEO, page caching, ERP, CRM, etc.

Honestly coding a replacement wouldn’t be difficult, there’re already a few alternatives out there, it’s the thousands of plugins you’d need to replace.
One of the issues with alternatives like ghost is not having a good plugin system.

I’d go further and say fiat currency in general.
People choose Corporate Memphis for a reason
I always assumed that reason was that it was cheap.
One of the reasons I’m pretty neutral on AI art is that it mostly replaced even more soulless stuff like corporate Memphis.

Been seeing this pattern for a long time. The ability to turn off public reviews is so obviously exploitable.

FYI it’s not snips of snails, it’s snips and snails.
Although it was originally snigs, which is an old English word for eel.

I’ve met more than a few businesses that will give a discount for cash.

Assassin of joy.
Didn’t Amazon experiment with preemptive dispatch years ago?
The English language would be a lot less annoying if it wasn’t for the N*rmans.

The limiting factor with zoom is often stability. There’s no way to hold a phone steady enough for a long zoom, and I don’t think any phone has proper optical image stabilisation.

There’s a culture of being expected to wear any medals your father or grandfather earned. When you think about the kind of basic medals even western militaries give out, such as good conduct, long service, etc, three generations of those adds up quickly.
The DPRK also just really loves medals. It’s not just limited to the military, they have medals for distinguished service as a factory worker or construction worker. They will even give long service medals to inanimate objects like industrial machinery.

So can a phone, or a tiny audio recorder.
It’s just an excuse to create a “papers please” internet.
