To my understanding the people hurt the most were the poor on food aids last year. This time it’s more federal programs that will be hurt. I would think this shutdown won’t hurt the common person as much? But I’m an illiterate idiot, please teach me.

Another upvote for Bosch. Idk what Series/model I have but its around 4 year old and still works like its brand new. Pretty quiet, dries pretty well too. Only issue is plastics. Like you say, just pop the door open before bedtime and everything will be fine.

This isn’t exactly a new idea. Software developers generally will donate to education systems so that their products are used while students are learning. This then allows for them to want to continue to use them in industry which in turn only promotes more of said software developers’ presence. It’s the long game.

I would think (not knowing what these robots would be made of) that there literally is not enough resources in the world to BUILD that many robots. It’s been confirmed that we cannot keep up with getting enough copper to upgrade our (US) electrical grids. How are you going to make all these robots that use copper trace for PCBs…?
