Seems like it would be ideal for caving. The heavier weight won’t be as noticeable with a helmet and most people wear multiple headlamps anyways for spot/flood/red or just redundancy. Larger batteries means fewer spares for long trips.

I’ve seen people use rolled foam like this rolled around the inner edge of their frame-less backpacks for a little support. They take up very little room this way, because it’s just the thickness of the foam x however many wraps it makes around the inside of the pack. The “inside” space is used storing the rest of your gear, the added support is nice on your back, and it also protects the thinner fabric of the pack from anything sharp inside.

Buying physical media is actually only buying a limited license to use that media yourself, and ripping the content to digitize/backup is technically against the the terms of that license in many cases. It’s ridiculous and unenforceable, but true.
