They’re right about the tradeoff, though.
The rates of autism are lower than the death rates without vaccines, so even if they did cause autism (which they do not), you should still vaccinate them.
The only thing they got wrong was falling for the lie about vaccines causing autism.
Given that premise: their conclusion was correct.

Anyone who wants to write the millennium between the month and century loses all credibility when arguing about date formats.
YYYY-MM-DD is the only coherent date format.
I think they would have incentive to still keep him on life support until the next congress is sworn in.
Until then he and his staff keep collecting paychecks.
It also guarantees the seat stays vacant for as long as possible, whereas announcing his death now leaves open the possibility that the governor appoints a replacement which might stand up even if they try to sue to block it.

That toxin can enter through skin abrasions, so if he cut the fish without wearing gloves he might not have even needed to eat it to get poisoned.

I’m a middle aged man in poor overall shape but I can still do cartwheels.
I’ve never been able to do a pull up.
Cartwheels don’t require much strength. You aren’t on your arms for very long and don’t actually further extend your arms during the period when they’re touching the ground.
What cartwheels do require is coordination, flexibility, and balance.
… and practice. Lots of practice.
If I had to guess for most people the limiting factor as you age would probably be flexibility.
That’s assuming you knew how to do them when you were young. I learned it in my mid twenties, but would not envy someone trying to learn it in their mid forties or later.

2·15 days agoThe text immediately before that spells out what appointments the president can make:
he shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by Law: but the Congress may by Law vest the Appointment of such inferior Officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the Courts of Law, or in the Heads of Departments.
In context it’s clear that the vacancies being referred to are the vacancies of the positions the president has appointment power over, and that explicitly excludes senators since their method of appointment is already provided for by the Constitution.
OK, thanks for explaining, now I understand where you got things confused.
That’s not granting the president authority to appoint Senators. It’s granting the authority to (temporarily) appoint executive officers without needing Senate approval.
Things like Secretary of State, Attorney General, etc.
NOT Senators, though. The process to replace them is explicitly defined by the 17th amendment and is entirely up to the respective state.
