If you’re only gonna be playing 3DS games, then it’s better to still use the native device since emulation has latency even if it’s relatively low. I got my Thor as I wanted to emulate multiple platforms plus PC games. I still have my 3DS for when I want to play stuff like Ranger or Rhythm Heaven.
I think more than anything, is to be wary of SMS and email notifications of such things in general. It is far too easy to spoof those. Contacting your bank through official means is probably the safest bet when it comes to situations like these.
Same I’d gladly pay for it, I’d love to be able to play stuff like Pokemon Ranger on it.
I was hoping they’d implement the hinge the same way Nintendo did which doesn’t have the same issue. I’m not a fan of TPU cases as they add extra bulk and tend to turn yellow after awhile but I get what you mean. I’ve experimented with sticking round silicon pads (not sure what they’re actually called) but it looks pretty rough.
I love my Thor but man the way it sounds when closing the lid makes me worry some times. Anyone know of a way to soften the impact?

Is anyone really surprised by this? Social media that’s owned by an authoritarian country known for having extremely stringent censors would obviously take advantage of it the moment they could.
Has already been the case in Singapore but they require us to login to our digital government ID on some external vendor’s site which no one sure if they’re even reliable or not. It’s easy to work around by changing your account’s region though.
It’s already been 4 years?? With all these anniversary visuals and how is still alive in Japan despite the lack of new releases, I can’t help but wonder if they’re still working on something new.
I’ve used a Z Fold since 2021 and I can’t imagine going back. The convenience of having a small tablet in your pocket is way too useful. It’s replaced my Kindle and also my Surface at the time for note taking. It was also fairly narrow which made it great for one handed use.
The new ones are much wider and lost the pen support though so I can’t imagine “upgrading” to them unless they bring those back. I’ll just replace the battery when needed and keep using my current one.
Not an option if you love somewhere where official parts are not for sale.
It wouldn’t have flopped if they didn’t just gave up on it. They were so far ahead of everyone else but just like they did with WP, they refused to continue building up its potential.
Piracy is an option. Your existing game library is an option. There is no shortage of alternative game marketplaces. Especially on PC where people still overwhelmingly prefer Steam even in cases where it costs more. I’m not saying it’s impossible but the odds of it happening in the current market is extremely unlikely.

Yea all the people saying this doesn’t answer OP’s question. OP wants to play the Switch 2 exclusives and is willing to pay for it. Whether or not it’s a good idea or not is their choice.

There’s a community run project that mods the older cods to fix the vulnerabilities and adds custom player hostable servers support. That said, I actually was thinking about single player but yea, that’s a good point.
For people with phones newer than me, I just don’t see the point in spending money to upgrade to what is by all accounts basically just the exact same phone they’re already holding. Just feels like an unnecessary waste of money to me. They’re not bad by any means, just unexciting and predictable.
If it’s been a couple of years already, I think it’s fine, those incremental updates do add up and a lot of times, Samsung gives pretty good trade in bonuses depending where you live. I wasn’t planning on upgrading from a Fold 3 to a Fold 6 but after pre-order discounts, trade in bonuses and bundle deals, I basically got a new phone for only 30% the full price of the device.
Are you seriously insinuating that the level of censorship on YouTube is anywhere close to Chinese platforms? A quick look on both websites would give you that answer very quickly.
