Any references to Star Trek are going to be from other players. There are a buttload of Fleet Carriers and CMDRs that call Wolf 359 home, so chances are high.
There aren’t, but you’re likely to encounter other CMDRs.

I’m a sucker for day-in-the-life episodes so the first ones that come to mind are:
Then there’s the disaster episodes:

Nah, if you have Bluetooth on your phone is already doing it.
Visiting Jennifer’s grave, huh

Private … on the fediverse?
No.

What are you going to put in your Super Mario 3 strategy guide?
The SMB3 strategy guide has color maps of every level, shows you where every hidden block is, and is jam packed with beautiful concept art.
It’s how I learned you could squat on white blocks to finish “behind” a level and get to warp pipe rooms. Going from 1-1 to anywhere you want in about 5 minutes is kind of a big deal in games without save states.

Is the final image of Aldon Smith one with him posing with these hotdog men?
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° )
This line made me laugh:
Defined communication channels for feature requests, places to report bugs, delegate to others some/more of the community management, put together a FAQ and more docs, and so on.
If only there were any other developers on the Internet that they could have learned from and taken an example. If only anyone had ever written an application before.

Please don’t suck.

You think 8k MAU is a chicken and an egg problem though?
No.
Any moron can flood a community with content. All it takes is an RSS bot and thirty minutes of free time. Take a look at !fantasyfootballnewswire@lemmy.inbutts.lol. Don’t subscribe to that community on Lemmy or it will drown out all other posts once the NFL goes to training camp.
(Following the community on Mastodon, in its own list, works wonders.)
Maybe ask the community if they want your contribution before whipping it out.

There are less than 8k MAUs in this community, it doesn’t need a firehose of memes from elsewhere.

“Network effect.”
It’s spam.
PROTIP: Add an extra hour to your prep time by making roasted garlic butter beforehand. Then mash it in with the potatoes.

Government official is getting extorted by [a path to the actual plot], but they own a vineyard and have the power to levy taxes. They tax beer to drive demand for wine.
Purely selfish self-preservation.

Ah, The Alchemist’s entire business plan.
