Kinda feels like you just wanted to talk about Depp being a POS
He is one. So, yeah.
Depp was found guilty of being a wifebeater in court, btw.
Edit: But you are right and I agree entirely!
the mainstream media narrative
The victim complex of this guy LOL. You got manipulated into siding with the wifebeater Johnny Depp. Live up to it.
Depp is a rapist wifebeater, besides being a drug addicted alcoholic. You just got astroturfed like most of the world: https://youtube.com/watch?v=6dXnJgu_kcI&pp=ygUVc2tlcGNoaWNrIGFtYmVyIGhlYXJk0gcJCaMLAYcqIYzv

The slow fall of The Rock is painful. Maybe because I haven’t actually watched enough of him to know why people think he deserves it.
But also, when people (of any kind) are being singled out - even one year is a long fucking time.
Say that to the pagans of the roman empire who were persecuted for centuries.

926·16 天前Lol, but you’re doing a 3D release cashgrab?
No, other Europeans killed indian natives as well. I’d say USA has been the worst of the colonial powers in their treatment of the natives with Spain coming second.
Really depends on what area. There are parts of Mexico where the native population was completely decimated, like the more northern parts, like Nuevo León. Many of the depopulations of native Indians in the southern parts of the modern area of USA also happened when they were part of the Spanish Empire, like the Guale, Timucua and Apalachee of Florida, or the people of New Mexico, and the various people of California.
Tolkien supported the fascists in the Spanish civil war. He was also a member of the Catholic church so he probably supported the Catholic missions of the Spanish empire, which were basically concentration camps.
He had his own crazy beliefs. We can’t know how he would react to this.
FFS we need to stop idolizing media personalities anyone like this.
I just installed this. Thanks for the answer!

11·18 天前On the whole “issue caused by malign being” thing, I completely agree with you that they are similar to modern conspiracy theories. They are ways to create meaning in a chaotic world.
On the “rock formation is a petrified giant” and similar stories, I think it’s humanity’s desire to always tell stories. In the specific case you linked, I think pattern recognition plays a role too. We see a human shaped rock and think it must be a petrified human. And then make up a story about.

Same story with trains through Sweden. Takes too long and is somehow more expensive.
how about the people who worry about all those who voted for a rapist. Thrice?
