There have been thousands of old games getting decompiled so they can be ran on PC/linux/4k/widescreen, when one happened by hand like Goldeneye,SuperMario64,OcarinaOfTime it made headlines but now people are doing it daily with the use of LLMs. Stuff like open sourced Adobe and MS Office products. People putting other game assets like Escape From Tarkov into games like Skyrim.
