What about my comment led you to that conclusion?
I’m more curious if it’s normal in other places to even have people from the carrier just casually texting customers.

It’s always “for now” since nothing is ever concrete anymore.

On iOS I use Focus a lot, but for things like theaters, restaurants, etc. the standard Do Not Disturb is enough, and if you use your calendar a lot (like I do so I can tap events on CarPlay to navigate) it’ll give you the option to deactivate the Focus after the event ends, when leaving, etc.

Is it normal for carriers to text their customers?

Weird how every stance he disagrees with happens to be a hoax.
I thought the people in power were promoting AI, especially since they’re the ones investing in it so much.

Why is Zoom even still popular? Remember when Apple had to push a security update to undo its insane HTTP daemon? I guess we’re all just okay trusting their janky-ass Windows adjacent UI and security model.

Me too, just fuck it all to hell. It’s nice not to have mobile apps tracking me either.

…okay? So the conclusion is don’t buy anything that communicates over the internet?

Yo what is up with this place? I know Trump is trying to mess it all up but damn I am so sick of hearing about this mother fucking place.

I did for awhile on PC, but more recently I couldn’t get it to run happily on an ARM macOS VM. I try off and on but it never works right, so I have boring old Debian when I need Linux (usually to disk repair for disks actually used by Linux machines).

His parents were talking about Elon Musk’s vision to go to Mars in 1996?
Could this post be titled a bit better?

For me it’s Santa Baby or whatever the hell it’s called, that song is just totally creepy.

I never liked chicken nuggets until going vegan, lol. The plant-based ones are amazing.
I’m in the US and went to a pretty rundown school in the Midwest, but yeah lunch was pretty much that (choices + salad bar).

Why do we even need the background photo at all?
Right, but simply staying away from their websites doesn’t really solve the problem. You can ditch Google all you want but you won’t get away from their tracking on just about every third party app and website — they even load scripts on (US) government websites.
