I feel like a good analog is learning an instrument i hand you a 6 string guitar and you can play it no problem you learned some songs growing up and youre pretty good at it but never delved into other instruments. muscle memory can take over and no thinking is required when playing it since its just like any other 6 string.
Hand that same guy a ukulele, a 12 string or a bass and tell them to play the same songs its “similar” feeling but fundamentally different. Everything feels awkward and slow every action now has to be deliberate and requires thought. It makes people feel stupid. Like that kid struggling to learn a song again.
I feel like alot of us just love to learn, and really enjoy finding a workflow with any device. To most its just tedious work to do something that they can easily accomplish on another device with zero brain activity in a fraction of the time it would take to learn.
