    Huh. I figured it was regional, but I didn’t know it was that regional.

    Though to be fair, I don’t think I’ve heard anyone call them that since my grandparents in the mid-90s.

      Is this because you haven’t been eating many donuts lately or do you think the word is falling out of favour?

        The latter, I think?

        I definitely eat my fair share of doughnuts, though rarely the jelly-filled ones.
