I put put dots on all my mice this morning. They all slide they are running on air bearings!

    You can buy the pads on the bottom of the mouse to replace them, theyre called skates or feet, look up m705 mouse skates on amazon theyre usually less than 10$, cool solution though

      That’s where I got these. I just bought cheap round ones. You can’t see them anyway when you are using the mouse.

        They’re fine, the mouse skates move the sensor a tiny bit closer to the surface which hardly matters unless you’re playing eSports or similar.

        Picking up the mouse to reposition it builds up a lot of muscle memory, if your mouse is suddenly 2mm higher than you may ‘lose contact’ with the surface a few ms earlier than you expect when moving the mouse. But we all know that the KDE mouse shaker game doesn’t require this.
