      Yeah, but in this case the genocide happened because of them. Without them there wouldnt be one. This is not a past shouldn’t be changed but a past that was changed.

        Well, their past wasn’t changed, and that’s the only past Starfleet is really concerned about - that’s the problem with predestination paradoxes.

        I understand your reaction to the episode, but I also think you’re hitting on exactly the thing that makes it interesting.

          Oh I agree that it makes it interesting I just think it wasnt handled well. I think commiting genocide because of a hunch is fucked up. Honestly thats my main problem.
