While it was possibly just for the sake of naturalistic dialogue, the Una/Pike scene was definitely written in such a way that it hyped up their ideal lawyer - intentionally circling but not stating their identity - a she, who is avoiding their calls.
“Did you manage to contact her?” “She’s avoiding my calls.” “Mine too.”
Is this going to be some kind of deep cut cameo? Can anyone recall a TOS era (or ENT depending on species) female character who was or could now logically be a lawyer?

Just fresh in my mind as I watched that episode not too long ago (slowly making my way through TOS)
She’s Starfleet JAG though, so she might end up on the other side…
