Original Title: Boeing B-17 ‘‘5 grand’’, the 5,000th B-17 built at the Seattle factory since Pearl Harbor and was signed by every employee working at the plant. Due to the weight and drag of the signatures the pilots said it flew 7mph slower than a standard B-17.
