The first post I brought it up in. I don’t know if I’ll finish it, but I have started to write it. I even went so far as to get a domain. It wasn’t my first choice, but its not bad. So any ideas, features, etc… are welcome, as is anybody that wants to help with it or advice for making it. I’m not quite ready to give out the name publicly yet, but if anybody is curious I’ll message you.
Oh man, same boat. (Though for me I’m just making a whole blog instead; I found it more flexible to my needs.)
The best general advice I can give, is to define early and clearly what features you want, and to stick to that. If you get any idea for extra features along the way, reserve them for a future version. This will help you break down the work, and avoid scope creep.
Have you already chosen a framework for the front and back ends?
In a set of coincidences, I was looking through my history and @soatok@furry.engineer posted a blog about furry blogs if you are interested in spreading knowledge of your blog. The word blog only appears 4 times in this post, but that feels like a lot for the length of it.
