    The group had been arguing about which movie to see, and she had made a comment about ‘not understanding why’ people didn’t want to see Titanic. I explained that it was because we all knew how it would end- the ship sinks.

    Edit:
    In my defense, we were in the same class and they had covered it like a week before the movie came out, cuz “pop culture interest” or whatever.

      Well… I am not a history buff but the absolute thing everyone knows about the Titanic is how it ends, so… your crush was kinda dumb/overreacted.

        I do remember it being rather surprising how many people failed to know that the titanic sank. she was far from the only one.

      Didn’t everyone want and did go to see it though? It was like the best selling movie for a long time, no?

        I never actually wanted to see it, to be honest. (All the movies out iirc kinda sucked. IMO the movie was poorly carried by DiCaprio’s ass. But I’m a guy and concede, that others might disagree.)
