I doubt that photo was really taken at the north pole.
Not sure if it’s the lack of ice or the presence of land but I too have just a tiny bit of skepticism.

I did some quick maths and assuming a desk-top globe of 12 inches, and guessing that the spokes are a quarter of an inch (which is probably too small), then the diameter of a life-sized spoke would be at least 82 miles (132.5 km) wide.
This being the first thing I see this morning is great. I’ve never laughed so hard so early in the morning.
