Are you familiar with the various styles of throat singing? Sound a bit like they are using some similar techniques to get resonate frequencies in the throat (low tones) and nasal cavities (high tones). I don’t know much about it, but that’s what it made me think of when hearing it.

OMG I didn’t even think about them throat singing. I do it poorly as a stim a lot lol.
