A Western defence source confirmed to the BBC the footage shows a Challenger 2 tank and that all crew survived.
Tank did it’s job, then.
The fact that Ukraine doesn’t lose experienced tank crews when they lose a tank is a huge strategic advantage. Not to mention that stories about survivability will encourage other crews to push the offensive even harder.
As long as crews keep living, we will keep sending more tanks
Fuck Russia and its clown LeADERShIp… They fucked around, it is time for Russia to find out
Steel not flesh; front-line equipment did its job and, if the crew survived, did its job well.
All crew survived, which is great to hear. At least the Challenger is getting put to good use in their offensive. Just like every other piece of military equipment, you’re always going to lose some.
Did it’s job well and I bet the kettle is ok

Are tanks like hire cars? Is there a damage waiver
As long as you return it with a full tank it should be fine
A tank full of tank. Tankception
Don’t worry guys, they paid the extra $12 for the insurance.
Why are there external fuel tanks on this? Wouldn’t that make it more vulnerable to attack?
Usually these are empty when rolling into battle, they are used to get there in the first place. Tanks aren’t known for great fuel economy and the inside is already cramped, so for cross country travel it’s practical.
Thanks, that makes sense.
