Love and romance have become an integral part of Baldur’s Gate 3, but former Dragon Age and BG2 writer David Gaider says BG3’s romance is “too overt.”

Totally agree, but this was in my playthrough where shadowheart showed the romantic interest of an acorn, and lae’zel was like “quick one night stand to get the muscles stretched?” And then from that point shadowheart was like “oh you guys have a good thing, I don’t want to mess that up” even if I broke ties with lae’zel, showed no further interest. Might have just been a bug or the specific approach I took. It’s all good, I’ll spend the 20 hours it takes to get into shadowheart’s pants next playthrough lol
