You can search public groups using their search service, just don’t forget to add using incognito profile.

I’ve tried using simplex but it’s simply (ahah) too slow for groups
I like it privacy wise but I think it’s better for small groups (<10) and 1 on 1 chats
Big chats are kinda a scam anyway, they should be forums lol
