    Damn - equal numbers of downvotes as upvotes within an hour of posting - you guys are harsh on slightly-out-of-focus, poorly-executed, amateur efforts 😀. Noted for future work.

      Buddy it’s a great pic of a great penis. Downvotes are from guys who look at All Local posts and are upset when they see a nice penis. Give us subscribers time to see this and upvote. It’s an issue with Lemmy’s default home feed settings.

        Thanks - your explanation massages my easily-bruised ego and therefore must be correct 😀. It is a bit weird that non-subscribers are allowed to vote on posts in a channel, since they are by definition not interested in that subject.
