Tagging that account as a user on Mastodon should crosspost your toot to c/startrek as a post - a great power, to be used with great responsibility.
Following that account will give you a chronological feed of all posts and comments, so spoilers are inevitable.
While I think the optimal experience remains having a Lemmy account - either with us or on another server - it’s good to have this option back!
I’m noticing that the hashtags are linking to the Mastodon instance it was posted from, is that new too?
Hmm, looking at the OP from my home instance, the hashtags seem to be linking to my own instance, rather than tenforward.social.

Yeah, I didn’t even realize the hashtags were links in the Lemmy interface. I think that’s new.
Also I just realized the title on Lemmy totally erases the community name. It originally read “If you are following startrek@startrek.website…”
Good point - it’s probably best to include the tag at the very end, along with any hashtags.
