Thanks, I thought it was a fun watch. There’s room for interpretation for sure, since it’s not clear- which seems common in the horror genre.
my interpretation
Since they were joking about killing in the begining, I figured that she’s a serial killer that kills her dates when something goes wrong, possibly the first was accidental. I was thinking the flies were probably hallucinations and not really there (Tell-Tale Heart style).

!i hadnt even considered the possibility of the flies being hallucinations. One commenter on the YouTube video says that they think that the girl is just an empty shell being controlled by the flies
