    @Ruth_Mottram @xkcd Funny you would say that about Copenhagen, as it is internationally upheld* as a walking and cycling paradise. I am sure the truth is more nuance and there is more to it than what most of us can see during a brief visits (aiming primarily at tourist destination).

    * It is primarily owing to Jan Gehl’s work, who transformed Copenhagen from a car-centric to a pedestrian- and bike-friendly city. Most of this is documented in his book Public Spaces, Public Life: Copenhagen 1996.
