If I search for a community like !embedded_prog@lemmy.ml nothing comes up. Trying to subscribe to a community on lemmy.ml results in “Subscribe Pending”
Try clicking in “subscribe pending” to undo the request, then click in “subscribe” again. It worked for me with some communities from lemmy.ml
