Yeah we should get back to BSG. Those first couple of seasons are great and my partner hasn’t seen it. Been meaning to check out Shadows and Our Flag, thanks for the reminder!

Yeah nah, they mean all Trek lol. Not in a rush to finish DS9. It’s too good although Voyager has it’s moments.

Do you want to watch Lower Decks?
I’m not a fan of anything since DS9. We will eventually finish DS9 one day, check out Voyager because like I said it does have it’s moments but then we’ll leave it there. I can’t get into any of the new stuff, it all seems pretty scattershot.
I’ll just say, a lot of the newer stuff has been more miss than hit for me, but Lower Decks is absolute top-tier Trek.

That reminds me, I though I had missed some backstory when this played at the start of a later episode…
I recently started rewatching S1 of Shadow and Bone, since I was surprised to learn S2 came out in March (shows how much attention I pay to Netflix lately). It can be a bit ‘YA’ sometimes, but the aesthetics and world-building are enough to keep it interesting.
I didn’t mind the first season but I dont remember much. I liked the setting and some of the minor characters more than the leads (the actors are fine, just the characters were kinda meh). I vaguely remember the story partly being told through flashbacks. I despise flashback storytelling.
