If it’s a couple of 5k runs a week just to keep you at a sort of regular fitness level I wouldn’t worry about it too much. I’d run first and do weights after like you have.
If I was working towards a specific goal with increasing training load then I’d try to do weight training when I don’t have any harder runs the next day or the day after that.
I usually just go with what Runnersworld etc. suggest to begin with and then adjust what I do based on how it feels.
I think you’ll be fine. Put whatever is more important to you first. If you’re trying to improve your lifts then do that first. If you’re chasing a running time then do that one first. Your other activity will suffer a bit though.
