    Statement from Israeli government:

    …all indications are that this was not Israeli orders, that this was rather, a Hamas rocket that fell short.

    From past conflicts with the terrorists in Gaza, we know that on average about 33% of rockets that they shoot at us, fall short and land in Gaza.

    If this happens to be the case - and it does not surprise me one bit that Hamas sees Gaza’s civilian population as cannon fodder/collateral damage, one in three of their own rockets hitting their own people - there are still a million articles and items and social media comments pushing the narrative blaming Israel.

    Since the article changed its headline, I’ve updated the post.

    Looks like the attack was originally claimed by accounts that have since deleted tweets, and right now it’s unknown what actually happened.

    The intent behind this post was to talk about what the patients, medical staff, and community is going through
