Let’s talk about UK season 5! I’m enjoying this season, and at this point, I can already say I like it more than the last two. The queens are really likeable—and funny. The judges seem to be having a great time as well. What do you think about the episodes thus far?

    Episode 3 spoliers*

    Loved that it was another noon elimination! Honestly just both groups were great and the episode had some epic moments, including that whole fight between roommates. This is really gonna be an iconic season!

      Both groups did really well! Though I found myself enjoying M52’s verses more. I ADORED Banksie’s Bowie look so it was such a shame she didn’t get critiqued. It’s really hard to pick a bottom two for this group of girls, geez. Everyone’s just so good and entertaining

    Wow, episode 1 was so much fun. There are some clear filler queens and some queens that are clearly or the long run, but I don’t dare to call it because you never know in Drag Race. It was delicious to see the international queens walk the runway. Pangina and Nicky Doll looked amazing. I missed more confessional bits of Nicky Doll though!
    I liked the choice if not eliminating any queen during the first episode, and the idea of having the entrance look count for the main challenge felt very fresh.
    Also, Kristen McMenamy as a guest judge was everything. When she told Ru something along the lines of: I remember you from the 80’s, when you were nothing! Guuuurl… I lived.

      Yes! I want to see Kristen again. I agree that you never know with Drag Race. I find it especially hard in this season to pick a weaker queen. They all seem so very good, although you couldn’t see it in ep 1

    I’m sad to see Alexis Saint Pete go. I always have a soft spot for immigrants and she seemed like a genuinely interesting queen. But she did lose that lipsync though…
    Even though I agreed with the judges critiques, I am not sure she deserved to be in the bottom

      Same! Being an immigrant myself, I always root for them. I agreed with the bottom two and the winner for this challenge, but I thought there were a couple of queens who deserved top placement more than Tomara

    I can’t believe it’s season 5 already. I feel UK dropped in quality in the last two seasons (although the finalist of the last season were probably the best of the entire UK franchise). I haven’t started watching yet, but I’m happy to read that the overal quality has improved!
