In Android Auto, when you reply to a conversation, it now uses “smart punctuation” by the assistant.

I use quotes because it’s hot garbage if you consider your words more deeply than a string of consciousness tiktoker and intersperses your reply with random periods and commas.

You can disable this in Gboard, but that doesn’t extend to Android Auto.
