Sorry, I had only thought about from the point of view of a customer future-proofing their Internet plan, not the ISP future proofing. I replied from that viewpoint, as the original comment was from that pov. I didn’t think about it otherwise, but you’re right that ISPs should future proof. That’s not silly.
